Internet Safety
As we integrate more 21st century technology tools into our classrooms (and daily lives), it is important to remember issues regarding privacy, public sharing of information and acceptable norms on the internet. As we integrate these digital tools across all aspects of our lives, we must recognize that this rapid and all-encompassing cultural change affect people differently. Please encourage your child to discuss things discovered on the internet, especially if something "does not look, feel, or sound right." As we build our classroom communities on Team Harmony, we will also discuss the role we all play in making sure that the internet and our digital tools remain effective and safe learning tools for all.
